Otium Planning Group is extending its support for Trek2Health by establishing a National Trek Day.

Trek2Health is an organisation founded with the single-minded objective to provide ongoing support to First Responders to Emergency Services personnel such as firefighters, EMTs and police officers in our communities.

The Otium National Trek Day 2021 is our inaugural fundraising event for raising awareness and supporting important not for profit groups such as Trek2Health, with events to be held in Brisbane, Cairns, Sydney and Melbourne on Sunday, 28 February 2021.

Trek2Health CEO, Bruce Barker, said of the initiative “Trek2Health is thrilled to be associated with Otium Planning Group and launch the first National Trek Day. Our philosophy is one of developing personal resilience through nature and we believe in the benefits of personal interactions and comradeship. Nothing captures the quintessentially Australian essence of mateship than this generous partnership with Otium. For every $1,000.00 raised via this National Trek Day, we at Trek2Health will be able to assist one frontline personnel or veteran achieve greater resilience via our uniquely designed module programs and most importantly say thank-you to those who support us every day.  RESILIENCE VIA EARTH”.

Our events are open to all Otium staff, clients, suppliers and the general public and will be a great way to get in touch with nature, get some exercise and support a great cause.  The events will meet current COVID-19 safety Guidelines.
