We are excited to announce that Yvette Audet, Senior Consultant at Otium Planning Group, has been appointed the Australian and New Zealand ambassador for the International Association for Sports and Leisure Facilities (IAKS).
Yvette will liaise with other countries in obtaining global trends and discussing best practice approaches for sport and leisure facilities. She will be creating an Australian/ New Zealand alliance of members encouraging global networking for planners, architects, engineers, clients, designers, operators as well as sports federations, associations and clubs. 
“I am looking forward to increasing IAKS memberships within Australia and New Zealand. There will be a series of information sessions, and post Covid-19 there will be site visits as well as other networking events”, Yvette said.
IAKS membership gives people access to specialised seminars, training events provided by industry experts as well as subscription to the SB Magazine, the leading trade magazine for the architecture, construction and operation of sports and leisure facilities.
