We were pleased to learn the Fraser Coast Regional Council recently endorsed the Fraser Coast Sport and Recreation Precinct Master Plan.
The 60-ha Precinct, located on the corner of Woods Road and Road 477, Nikenbah, is expected to cater for the sport and recreation needs of the Fraser Coast community into the long-term future.
Otium led the project team of Greenedge Design, Turner and Townsend and Open Architecture Studio. The project scope included site analysis, demand analysis, community and stakeholder engagement, development of the vision and design principles and development of the precinct concept.
The Master Plan will guide future investment in sport and recreation infrastructure at the Precinct. The people of the Fraser Coast: residents, visitors, and existing and potential users of the Precinct are at the heart of the Master Plan, which aims to embody the community’s collective vision to provide an inviting and sustainable sport and recreation precinct.
