We were pleased to note that the plans and concepts for the development of the Heffron Centre have recently been approved by Randwick City Council and construction is set to commence later this year.
The $58M development comprising the high performance training centre for the South Sydney Rabbitohs, an indoor multi-purpose sports centre and gymnastics centre will be built in Maroubra’s Heffron Park, replacing the existing run-down community facilities.
Otium Planning Group has more than six years project support history having originally been engaged by Randwick City Council in 2015 to provide feasibility and business planning for the community facilities. Since this time we have completed a range of management and business plan support services as the concept and project funding has progressed.
Over the past six years we have worked with a great team of Council officers, NS Projects, Co-op Studio and a range of specialist sub consultants that have collectively contributed to this great facility outcome.
