Kate Maddock, Managing Director of Otium Planning Group Pty Ltd, congratulates Premier Daniel Andrews and Minister for Sport John Eren for the recently announced $64.6 million upgrade of the Victorian State Netball and Hockey Centre (SHNC).
Otium Planning Group has assisted Development Victoria and Sport and Recreation Victoria with business planning and facility operational modelling for the project and the upgrade will certainly cement the SHNC as Australia’s premier home for netball and hockey.
Kate has also noted the funding will establish the Change our Game Sport Leadership Centre, which is planned to kick start initiatives to drive cultural change and grow female leadership in sport.
The announcements also include funds for a range of major projects that Otium Planning Group has assisted a range of clients with including:
- Carlton Football Club – $20 million to redevelop IKON Park into the home of women’s football.
- Funds to improve facilities at Whitten Oval.
- Funds to assist with a master plan for the State Basketball Centre.
- Funds assisting to upgrade local sports facilities.
